420 city miles
80 hrs searching
4 tanks of gas
200 flyers
20 giant posters
14 hospitals
7 shelters
mass emails, messages and bulletins
thousands of hits on craigslist and LA animal shelters
two ace venturas, that cost a shit load of:
$$$

You get to know your city very well when your dog is lost. Some of these miles could have actually been kind of fun if she was there. I didnt know what to do with my food leftovers tonight. I dont know how to eat a sandwich anymore without leaving some for her. I even hired people with bloodhounds and what they found was that she had been looking as much for me as I have for her. But we dont seem to manage to be at the same place at the same time and somehow she lost her way home. Probably because of the wonderful smog from the 101. I only hope she manages to stay away from coyotes and traffic before I find her. I intend to.
